Following a successful soft opening, the restaurant will open to the public on Monday, August 1. I don’t really understand because there were other open tables near misters that no one was sitting at.An "authentic" Italian restaurant is due to open in Willerby tomorrow (Monday August 1).ĬIBO Italiano, in Willerby Square, is run by a family with more than 30 years' experience, who are promising to serve traditional Italian cuisine. (Side note- in the short time we were there, we literally watched three different tables near us sat with people who then asked to move because there we’re no Courtesy and kind words to your patrons goes a long way! Don’t expect to receive that at CiBo. Too bad he did not stand up, sincerely apologize, offer some sort of compensation, and admit that the table we sat at was basically next to their dumping ground.

Will not be dining there again and will certainly share my experience with coworkers, friends, and family. Nothing special and nothing to write home about. We had the Bolognese, margarita pizza, and the anti-pasta plate. I’m not sure who this guy is or how long he’s been the manager, but if I owned that restaurant he would have been fired on the spot! Who talks to customers like that?!Įven if I disregard his unbelievably rude behavior, we will never eat there again because the food was completely mediocre. He continued to raise his voice, and speak to me rudely and snarky. If you know you have a table that bad, why would it be there in the first place? Clearly I was not the first person to be disgusted by the unsightly area. He then proceeded to raise his voice and asked me why I didn’t ask to be moved two hours ago when I sat down. It was awful! I reiterated that I was just suggesting he might want to rethink the look of the area. Yeah right! I can promise you he’s never sat at that table… nor have they ever sat good/important customers there. I asked what he would think if he was sat at that table with his family or friends…he claimed he wouldn’t mind it. He gave me an insincere, “I’m sorry.” In addition, he did not even bother to stand up…he just continued to sit at the bar with his friend. When we left I decided to tell the manager (Michael) that our table was not an appetizing place to sit, and they might want to consider putting a little divider up so people don’t have to look at the muck while they eat. Didn’t want to make a big deal out of it so we didn’t ask to move tables. bricks, stacks of plastic dirty chairs, and just plain ol’ dirt/mud with zero landscaping. My son and I were sat outside next to a hose with water pouring into a container (overflow from their misters…which by the way we did not get to experience, and it was 96 degrees tonight), a large puddle of stagnate water, piles of dirty.
